Michael Keith is a 13 years old phenomenal and prodigy kid. He is an actor, performer, dancer, songwriter and model. At a young age, Michael's family saw the young artist's star power as he performed for his older sister's performing arts workshops at only 3 years old. With the High School Musical soundtrack as his music, Michael not only "sang" the song for the crowd - he performed the music. He formally began his training in classical piano at almost 5 years old and joined the SVDP children's choir at 6 years old. With his voice always sticking out from the rest, it was sooner before later that Michael, with the support of his family, would pursue his dreams of creating and performing his own music. He was the most sought young performer at various events at an early age.
At age 6 he was invited to sing the National Anthem at the MLB Hall of Fame Fundraising sponsored by KInderVision Foundation. He gets interviewed by magazines and radio stations. In August of 2014 at age 9, he had his first showcase and something happened to his CD so he told the audience, "so I guess I have to play live in the piano." Michael stole the audience's heart as he performed an impromptu of Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" in the piano. His ability to take command of the stage, in the midst of technical difficulties, showed just what a talented performer Michael is. He won that night as Best Performer 12 and Under and Best Pop Artist 12 and Under. His performance caught the eye of RK Records as well as rapper/actor Chris LaVrar. There is no dull moment everytime Michael performs, producers and managers of different recording company are eager to produce and manage him like the famous iconic American Manager/Producer Steve Lobel who was stunned after his performance and approached him and offered to collaborate with him. He has worked with producers like Winfrey, Grammy Producer Slikk (who has worked with celebrities like Babyface, Beyonce, Ariana, etc.), Iroc (UMG producer), Spinner (Big Spin Entertainment), and Grammy Producer Alex C.. Even actor/singer Drake Bell of Nickelodeon's "The Josh and Darke Bell" was amazed with him that he asked Michael to sing a live impromtu duet with him on the stage at Busby's East.
2015 was a memorable year for Michael. This phenomenal and talented kid is not only good in performing but he also possess the qualities of what a good actor is. Though Michael wasn't fully trained in acting, it was LaVrar who, after seeing Michael's potential, urged and encouraged Michael's mom to sign with Stark Talent, his first commercial talent agent on February, 2015. He officially began acting and going out to auditions right after he got signed - a decision that Michael has never looked back from. He quickly booked a PSA commercial on his first audition, then followed by bookings of student films. He even had the opportunity to co-star in Debris, a film featured at the LA Film Festival. Michael was the first choice for the lead role in this film but his looks doesn't fit for the role of a Mexican immigrant. 3 months after was Michael's biggest break, he booked his first national role, "Macy's Back to School A Capella" out of thousands of kids who auditioned to be a part of the magic 6 kids. Michael had the opportunity to showcase his singing, beatboxing, and actings skills for the nation! Under the direction of Cameron Duddy, the young talent's skills shined. In fact, it was in that first commercial that Michael caught the eye of talent managers eager and willing to manage him. Not only that, within the week while having his rehearsals for his Macy's commercial, he was sent to audition and on that same day booked his second national commercial under the direction of Andreas Nillson.
Since then, Michael has worked on numerous projects, some with Disney and Nickelodeon. Some of his work includes a Disney voiceover short titled "Tap and Swipe," during which he worked with the legendary Ed Valentine. He was also featured as a "Future Icon" together with Misty Copeland, Lela Brown, David Southworth and many more. Michael recently filmed his 2016 national commercial under the direction of Daniel Warwick and a guest star role on Nickelodeon's School of Rock, and had the opportunity to work under the direction of Eric Dean Seaton.
Michael's maturity and dedication for his passion is far beyond his years, as Michael understands how important it is to continue learning from others and growing as an all-around artist. Michael continues to hone his acting, singing and dancing skills by taking intensive workshops and private coaching from seasoned coaches, actors, Casting Directors; famous vocal coaches and choreographers who trains and works with celebrities in the industry.
Michael is a philantrophist himself at an early age of 7. He supports charity or fundraising events like the Children's Hospital - LA, Cancer for Life Relay, Grammarch, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, etc. and he is also one of the Ambassadors of Bullying Awareness Network and a member of P.A.C.E Program (Promoting Academics thru Creative Expressions, Inc. - an Education Music Entertainment Program).
